Supersonic is a documentary directed by award-winning Mat Whitecross about the story of the iconic band Oasis, told by the band themselves.

Empire Cinemas showed the documentary once today at 4pm and it almost sold out.

19-year-old film and screenwriting student, Sam Crawley, was one of the many people at Empire Cinema today to see the documentary. He said:

“The film really lived up to the hype for someone like me growing up listening to Oasis.

“It was really interesting to see how they told their own story after there being so much controversy about them over the years and it was even more special that it was only played one time in the cinema.”
